About Us

Nine Days of Green is a temporary sound-art, poetry and listening platform based around Greens Boghandel and Sorgenfri Torv.

At the centre of the project is the idea of a living sound library: a place where sound is not only collected, but practised, borrowed, shared and returned. Rooted in the everyday life of the square, the former Sorgenfri Library and the surrounding shops, Nine Days of Green explores how listening can become a social, poetic and civic practice.
